LivingPotential's First Blog

Hello everyone.  Here's our first blog!!.

As you may be aware, our website is new, and it is being created/amended as we grow and evolve.  We have much information which we want to share with you and will be adding to the website in the very near future re: our firm LivingPotential and the services we provide.

Today I am posting a link re: Sault Ste. Marie and what they are doing in regards to their drug strategy.  Chief Robert Keetch of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is speer-heading and implementing a patch-for-patch program in effort to address the rising abuse of Fentanyl patches in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Chief Keetch was formerly with the Greater Sudbury Police Services (GSPS) as Inspector.  I met Chief Keetch over 4 years ago when he was Inspector here, and worked closely with him and many other partnering agencies locally over the past 4 years in developing Greater Sudbury Area's Community Drug Strategy (CDS).  Our strategy is at its final stage of implementation in our community.  And I am happy to say we are working diligently toward implementing the Patch-for Patch program in March of this year to address the misuse and abuse of Fentanyl patches within our community.

I am privileged and honoured to have had the fortune of working closely with Chief Keetch in addressing issues of Substance Abuse in Greater Sudbury Area, and I am proud to see the work and ethic Chief Keetch brings to his new postion in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Below is a link to the media release re: the Fentanyl Patch-For-Patch program being implemented in the Soo.
